Preserving Family Ties Support Group Program

Support Groups are key for many who can find solace, compassion and essential validation for the hurt, pain and disappointment many of us experience during times of family change.

Support Groups can help to connect with other people who have, or know someone who is experiencing Parental Alienation. A support group is one way to do this.  Check out MarkDavidRoseman.com

“I remember when serving as Assistant Director for Child Access at the Children’s Rights Council in Washington, our Director, David L. Levy would yell from his office when I was on the helpline and say, ‘tell them to join a support group! If they can’t find one, start one!’ I’ve started many since my own journey began in 1997.”

If you are attempting to co-parent with a toxic ex-spouse or former partner, you need a support group that understands your situation and pain points. If you have endured this form of domestic violence and believe your children are impacted by this child abuse, often referred to as “Parental Alienation,” you need us.

We are industry professionals who have an intimate understanding. Yes, we “get it.”  Let us provide additional knowledge, resources, and support to not just survive, but thrive during this rough season.

Each meeting includes the exploration and discussion of an educational topic and members have the opportunity to share current struggles, victories, and creative communication strategies.

Extended Family & Friends – Supporting A Loved One

Preserving Family Ties Virtual Support Groups

In working with mothers and fathers who are struggling to be in their child’s life, I witness how much the extended family is impacted. Grandparents, step-parents, aunts, uncles, and many others face challenges and situations they never imagined. Often, it is difficult to work through these challenges, because you feel alone.

Relief is just a click away! You are no longer alone with this issue. Truthfully, what you are feeling and experiencing, is very common when dealing with this dynamic. Together we will learn and grow so you have a better idea of what to expect, and how to better handle what to say and do, for everyone, especially yourself.

This group gets together to educate, support and lift each other up when dealing with a broad list of relevant topics including emotions, ambiguous loss, and even the holidays.

Grew Up In a Toxic Family

Preserving Family Ties Virtual Support Groups

As you maneuver the world of parental alienation, you may have been hit with the realization that you have grown up in a toxic household. It may have hit you like a hammer to the face and you probably have many different emotions. This is normal. Your adult relationships may be extensions of the boundaries or lack thereof that you learned in childhood. People pleasing a problem? Low self worth? Not loving yourself enough to say no? Afraid of confrontation because you don’t want to upset people, but not respecting yourself enough to voice your opinion? Repeated abusive relationships in adulthood? Struggle with anxiety, depression, social anxiety, ocd?

The group is here to provide support in a safe, non-judgmental environment, where everyone will be able to listen to your problems and most importantly; relate to them.

Our mission is to offer you information that can help you build your identity back up to who it was meant to be.Toxic families leave scars that no one sees and people don’t fully understand it unless they’ve actually walked the walk. This effects people of all races and cultures and you are not alone. We offer virtual peer support to adults who will learn to thrive after living through a tumultuous childhood.

This is a forum for mutual acceptance, understanding and self-discovery with peers. Participants are encouraged to share their experience, strength and hope. You don’t have to be alone anymore. You never were. Many have suffered in silence for too long.We are here to listen to what keeps you up at night and provide support. We look forward to welcoming you to our community.
